Dr. Bowers is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in private practice, academic medicine, research, and medical education. Throughout her career, she has cared for patients while also training the next generation of dermatologists, including serving as Director of the Dermatology Residency Program at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

We’re excited to have Dr. Bowers joining our Oak Park team to help us continue meeting the dermatologic needs of our community. 💙

🚨 Help Protect Access to Dermatologic Care 🚨
Proposed Medicare payment cuts could make it harder for patients to access the care they need. The recently released 2027 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule proposes a 9% payment cut for dermatology.

When reimbursement continues to fall while the cost of providing care rises, patients may feel the impact through:

• Longer wait times
• Fewer available appointments
• Reduced access to dermatologic care

Your voice can make a difference. We’re asking our patients and community to join us in calling on Congress to reverse the proposed Medicare cuts and protect access to care.
