3 miles 'til donuts. 🍩🏃🏻‍♀️

I signed up for the 2026 Stan's Donut Race Stan's Donut Race because I'll always run for a pastry. But, somewhere between the starting line and the donut, this became about more than dessert brilliantly disguised as breakfast.

My first race ever. A crowded race course that pushed me outside my comfort zone. Miles shared with people I love: Mason Eng Judy Hu Eric Pan. And somehow...a bronze medal for females in my age group, which was a pretty fun and unintentional surprise!

Most importantly, we were doin' it for the dough: raising money for Cal's Angels while also earning the kind of dough covered in glaze.

Sometimes growth doesn't arrive looking profound. Sometimes it shows up disguised as a donut, reminding you that you can do things you never imagined...and that celebrating along the way is part of the journey, too.

Personally, I’m feeling the heat this Leo season — both good and, at times, less than good — but I'm choosing to allow the fire to transmute what isn’t serving my spirit today. Mindfulness is the practice of coming home to yourself. Intentionally noticing your breath, your energy, your inner landscape—and tending to it with care.

These practices can help your mind and body catch up to each other and settle into harmony—when your nervous system finally feels safe enough to just be.

Today, the Sun lingers longest and invites us to bask in the sweetness of being.

Lately I’ve been reflecting on what I’m ready to release so I can fully embrace that sweetness—trading hustle for harmony, striving for savoring.

The solstice reminds us: it’s safe to slow down. It’s powerful to feel joy.
