At the recent AACS Annual Scientific Meeting, we had the honor of welcoming Dr. Willie Underwood, President-Elect of the American Medical Association, as our keynote speaker.

Following his presentation, “Through Teamwork, We Can Make the Dream Work of a Great Health System,” Dr. Samir Pancholi, AACS Vice President, asked an important question:

What does it take for an organization to truly grow?

Dr. Underwood shared a powerful perspective:
“People go where the opportunities are.”

For medical organizations looking to thrive, the key is creating leadership and development opportunities for the next generation, giving young physicians a place where they feel they belong and can help shape the future of the profession.
