Join us in welcoming Kathie Van Kampen! Kathie will be working with children and families in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. Kathie brings a wealth of expertise as an OT and we are excited to see her shine! Read more in Kathie's bio here:
Kathie is a licensed occupational therapist with early intervention credentials. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Services and Sciences from Western Michigan University, with minors in Psychology and Holistic Health, before earning her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University’s Grand Rapids campus.
Kathie has experience working with both children and adults across a variety of settings and diagnoses, including supporting neurodiverse individuals with unique sensory, developmental, and social-emotional needs. She enjoys using individualized, play-based approaches to help children develop important life skills, increase independence, and build confidence. Kathie is especially passionate about partnering with families and creating meaningful connections that support the child’s growth and development.
In her free time, Kathie enjoys baking, spending time with her friends and family, being outdoors when the weather is nice, and practicing Pilates.
