✨ BIG NEWS AT SPECTRUM OF SMILES! ✨

I am incredibly excited to officially welcome Talisa Smith, M.A., BCBA to Spectrum of Smiles Autism Center as our new Executive Director of Clinical Services and Operations! 💙

As a founder, there comes a point when you realize that growth requires you to build beyond yourself. You have to surround yourself with people who can lead, challenge ideas, bring different strengths to the table, and help carry the vision forward.

For Spectrum of Smiles, this is one of those moments.

Talisa is a Chicago native, born and raised on the South Side, who has dedicated her career to serving individuals with disabilities. She has worked in the field since 2009, earned her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University, and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2020.

What excites me most, though, is not simply her credentials. It is her passion for people, her ability to think about solutions and systems, and her commitment to helping children become more connected to their families and communities.

As Executive Director of Clinical Services and Operations, Talisa will help lead and strengthen our clinical enterprise, with a focus on clinical excellence, quality, leadership development, accountability, innovation, and sustainable growth. She will have a seat at the table as we shape what comes next for Spectrum of Smiles.

I am incredibly proud of what we have built—but I am even more excited about what we are becoming.

This next chapter is about building bigger, building stronger, and building with intention while never losing sight of why Spectrum exists in the first place: the children and families we have the privilege to serve.
