The AAOS National Orthopaedic Leadership Conference was busy this past week in Capitol Hill. Our members sat down with representatives and health care staffers from their home states to share how federal policy affects their practices and patients' access to timely hand and upper extremity care.
ASSH is deeply grateful for the hand surgeons who represented the Hand Society in Washington, D.C. They stepped away from their patients, practices, and families to bring hand surgery's message to Capitol Hill, and it leaves a lasting impact.
