Sorry for the last minute notice: we need to close the office an hour early today. We will close at 5p, last allergy shot at 430p. Have a great day!

We are going to open one hour later than usual tomorrow, April 8th, starting at 9:00 a.m. Also, don't forget to start your allergy medications now if you had a tough spring pollen season last year!

We're back online!

Uh oh. Our electronic medical record is down! Apparently a nationwide cloud server issue. We will not be able to administer allergy shots without the records available to us. We can see patients for appointments in office but not televisits. We will not be able to access any records, such as lab results. We'll update you when we're back online!

For our patients and families managing persistent eczema, check out this event taking place in Chicago in March. I will be giving a talk about food allergies and how they relate to atopic dermatitis. Dr. D

The National Eczema Association (NEA) is hosting Living Well with Eczema: A Community Workshop in Chicago, Illinois on March 22, 2025.

Sorry we have to close at 430pm today due to a sudden family emergency.

Just attended a meeting with Lurie Children's docs and heard that the community continues to get bombarded with infections that can worsen or mimic asthma. COVID is very active, so vaccination with the new version should be a priority. Pertussis is finding its way around, so we will need to consider this within anyone suffering from prolonged coughing fits. We have influenza vaccines and believe this is the right time to get them so protection will be built before it hits Chicagoland. And there are viruses that aren't COVID or flu that are causing a TON of asthma exacerbations and viral pneumonia, so remember to be healthy with rest, exercise, and good diet choices! Dr. D
