It was our pleasure to celebrate our community partners at this year's event "Rooted in Care."

We are grateful to our awardees and keynote speaker, for joining us and for their service to our communities.

Jessie Fuentes, Alderperson 26th Ward, delivered an inspiring keynote address, highlighting the importance of community care and resilience, emphasizing that "Our Communities Deserve Healing."

Cindy Eigler, Executive Director the Coalition of Immigrant Mental Health, we are pleased to have presented the Community Partner Award to Cindy and the trauma-sensitive education and support provided by CIMH. We are honored to work alongside them.

Edna Navarro Vidaurre, Regional Council Manager Birth to Five Illinois Region 1A (City of Chicago), was presented with Community Partner Award for her enduring advocacy, community building, and focus on early child education and services.

Colin Boyle, Director of Photography Block Club Chicago, was presented with our Community Champion Award for documenting the lived experiences of our communities during critical times.

William Blair was awarded our Corporate Sponsor Award this year for their steadfast support of our mission over the years.

Thank you to all who helped us celebrate these incredible partners!

Rooted in Care is tomorrow night. A generous donor has just pledged a $10,000 match for tomorrow's giving. Every dollar you give between now and the event doubles, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.That means a $50 gift becomes $100. A $500 gift becomes $1,000. This is the moment to give, because the impact and the need are real.

This match accelerates everything EMHS does at The Kedzie Center and LoSAH Center of Hope: quality, accessible mental health care for kids, families, and adults across Chicago's Northwest Side.
