Celebrating Black Breastfeeding Week
Welcome, beloveds. 💜
we gather in community to honor Black mothers, birthing people, babies, families, and the sacred wisdom of nourishment.
At the Haus of Omi, we believe breastfeeding is more than feeding—it can be connection, culture, healing, resilience, love, and a reclaiming of ancestral wisdom.
This space is for celebration, education, connection, and joy. A space where we can share stories, honor different feeding journeys, learn from one another, and celebrate the beautiful ways Black families nourish themselves and their babies.
Whether you are breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, combo-feeding, formula-feeding, supporting someone who is feeding, or simply here to learn and celebrate—you are welcome here.
Come as you are. Bring your wisdom. Bring your questions. Bring your whole self.
May this gathering remind us that our stories matter, our bodies deserve care, our babies deserve nourishment, and our communities deserve spaces where we can thrive.
