We are incredibly proud to announce that Custom Home Care's Kudi Akinshiju has been selected as one of five finalists for the Care Association of America’s 2026 Caregiver of the Year Award!

This national recognition honors caregivers who go above and beyond for their clients every day. Home care agencies across the country nominated their very best caregivers, and out of more than 500 nominees, Kudi was selected as one of just five finalists.

As part of this recognition, Kudi also won a complimentary trip to the 2026 National Home Care Conference in Orlando, where she will have the opportunity to be recognized alongside the other finalists from across the country.

We couldn’t be more proud of Kudi and the compassion, dedication and exceptional care she brings to her clients every day. The winner will be announced Tuesday, September 29, at the National Conference in Orlando. We will be there cheering Kudi on!

It was a pleasure to attend the SHARE Network's 2nd Annual Brain Health Symposium. The engaging discussions, expert insights and opportunities to connect with colleagues reinforced the importance of collaboration in advancing brain health and dementia care.

Thank you to the SHARE Network and UChicago Medicine for hosting such an outstanding event. The Home Court at the Obama Presidential Center was a wonderful venue for an afternoon of learning and networking.
