We were proud to have our CEO, Veronica Clarke, in attendance at the groundbreaking of the Red Line Extension—a historic investment in Chicago’s Far South Side.

We were especially excited to have her join local and federal legislators for this important milestone, highlighting the shared commitment to expanding access and opportunity in our communities.

This long-awaited project will extend the CTA Red Line from 95th Street to 130th Street, adding four new stations and expanding access to reliable public transportation for thousands of residents.

For the communities we serve, this means more than transit—it means greater access to healthcare, jobs, education, and economic opportunity. This is what meaningful progress looks like.

And yes—that 130th stop is right in our backyard.
