After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Fortitude Fest, scheduled for this Saturday, due to unhealthy Air Quality Index levels forecasted through the weekend.
Per guidance from the Illinois EPA, lingering pollutants may pose health risks even if air quality improves, especially for those with respiratory conditions, our Dears, and others more sensitive to poor air quality.
The health, safety and wellbeing of our members and guests always comes first. We're disappointed, but confident this is the right call.
Huge thanks to everyone who planned to attend, and especially to the Fortitude Fest Committee for your countless hours of hard work and dedication. We'll miss fellowshipping this year, we are already looking forward to bringing Fortitude Fest back in 2027!
