October is Physical Therapy Month! Physical therapists are the medical world’s clinical experts in musculoskeletal movement. They are trained to evaluate and treat a huge variety of conditions. We commonly think of physical therapists as the people who help us get moving again after a surgery or injury, learning how to use crutches or throw a ball again. Yet physical therapy is all-encompassing, treating conditions such as musculoskeletal dysfunction (like back or knee pain or a rotator cuff tear), cardiopulmonary conditions, hand and wrist injuries, neurological conditions, chronic pain, pre- and post-partum treatment as well as work injuries. Physical therapy is an integral part of one's healing and feeling better. Huge thank you to all our Physical Therapists and the care they provide!
