THE WOMEN’S TABLE

Dr. Catherine Kleinmuntz, PhD, LSW is excited to be starting The Women’s Table, a new series of free, small-group conversations for women.

Groups are held virtually and are open to women throughout ILLINOIS. Each month will focus on a different topic—parenting, relationships, work, illness, aging parents, life transitions, and some of the other things we find ourselves navigating as our lives change.

These are intentionally very small groups, limited to just 5 women, so there is time for everyone to talk, listen, ask questions, and learn from one another.

Each conversation stands on its own. There is no ongoing commitment—simply sign up for the month and topic that speaks to you.

Our first conversation:

WHO IS THIS KID?
Parenting Through the Adolescent Shift

Remember when your child actually told you things?

Then adolescence arrives. Suddenly there’s more independence, more privacy, more time with friends—and sometimes a lot less interest in what you have to say.

How do you stay close without hovering? When do you step in, and when do you back off? How do you handle the arguments, closed doors, changing friendships, and the occasional feeling that you no longer quite know what is happening in your child’s life?

This is a chance for five women raising adolescents to talk candidly about what this stage is really like—and how to stay connected to your child as your relationship changes.

Monday, October 5
7:00–8:00 PM
Telehealth
Free
Limited to 5 participants from Illinois

You do not need to be a current therapy client. All women interested in this month’s topic are welcome.

Interested in joining us?

Email Dr. Kleinmuntz at [email protected] with “Women’s Table” in the subject line and your name in the message.

She will confirm your spot and send you the Telehealth information by email.

People often wonder where I got the name “Outspoken” to name a therapy practice. This is a term that’s been used to describe me often, and I’ve chosen to embrace it and to show up as my most authentic self. I wanted to create a space where my clients feel free to show up as their most authentic selves as well.
