Key focus areas:
→ Advanced structural, functional, metabolic, and molecular brain imaging
→ MRI pulse sequence development, quantitative imaging biomarkers, PET/MR, and AI-driven analysis
→ Collaborative research across neuroradiology, neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, and neuroscience
→ Applications in Alzheimer’s disease, neuro-oncology, stroke, cognitive decline, and aging

Research environment:
→ 5 dedicated research MRI systems (1.5T, 3T, 7T) at the Center for Translational Imaging
→ 20+ clinical MRI scanners, a 3T PET-MRI, and 3 PET-CT systems at Northwestern Memorial Hospital
→ Strategic collaboration with Siemens Healthineers
→ Partnerships with the Simpson Querrey Brain Health Institute, Mesulam Center, and Malnati Brain Tumor Institute

Candidates should hold a PhD or MD/PhD in physics, engineering, computer science, medical imaging, or a related field, with a strong publication record and sustained extramural funding.
