💕 Another round of PINK has taken over The Place! 🎀

Our teams are continuing to show up in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we love seeing our centers come together to support a cause that touches so many lives. 💗

From one center to the next, we’re spreading awareness, showing support, and reminding our communities that even the smallest gestures can make a meaningful impact.

Say Hi to our Pilsen, Joliet, Hermosa, and Bronzeville teams! All united in PINK! 💕

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, teams across The Place wore pink to show that we are Stronger Together.

Every person. Every small action. Every show of support. Together, they make a bigger impact.

Today, we’re sharing hope, support, and awareness for everyone impacted by breast cancer. 💕

What’s better than celebrating a work anniversary? Celebrating together! 🥳

Our amazing clinical leaders at our Lake in the Hills center recently came together to celebrate their work anniversaries at The Place!

Each anniversary represents another year of dedication, growth, teamwork, and countless moments spent making a meaningful difference in the lives of the kiddos and families we serve.

We’re so grateful for the heart, passion, and leadership these individuals bring to The Place each and every day.

Here’s to the milestones worth celebrating, the memories made along the way, and many more years of growing together!

Help us wish these incredible team members a HAPPY WORK ANNIVERSARY Colin, Aleah, Grace, and Alayna!💙

At The Place for Children with Autism, play is more than just fun. It’s an opportunity to learn, connect, explore, and grow!

From climbing and running to taking turns and building friendships, our outdoor play spaces create natural opportunities for our kiddos to develop communication, social, motor, and everyday living skills.

Through our play-based approach to ABA therapy, our dedicated team creates intentional learning opportunities that meet each child where they are while helping them work toward meaningful developmental milestones.

💙 And we don’t do it alone. We partner with families every step of the way, celebrating progress, building on each child’s strengths, and working toward the skills that matter most to their everyday lives.

📍 Take a peek at our outdoor play space at our Elgin, Illinois, center, where purposeful play and meaningful progress go hand in hand!

A team that works hard together deserves to celebrate together!

Our incredible Speech Therapy team recently got together for a night out at Puttery, celebrating their growth, their impact, and some well-deserved quality time together.

💙 From left to right, our talented Speech Therapists: Kit, Seona, Raquel, Nora, Melissa, and Jordan!

Today, this team provides speech therapy across 16 of our centers, supporting more than 130 families at The Place! That means families can access ABA therapy and speech therapy in the same place, with teams collaborating around the kiddos we’re all here to support.

Because that collaboration matters. 💙

When our ABA and Speech teams work together, our kiddos benefit from a united approach to building communication skills and reaching meaningful goals.

One team.
Shared goals.
More opportunities for our kiddos to thrive.

We’re so proud of this growing team and the impact they continue to make every single day. Here’s to our Speech team with The Place for Speech!

One week ago tonight, we had the honor of showing up for something that means so much to us.

The Place for Children with Autism was incredibly proud to stand alongside The Autism Hero Project as a legacy sponsor at the Include Me Gala, with full hearts and so much anticipation for what the next year of Blue Envelopment expansion and the Autism Hero Project grants will mean for families in our communities.

We see firsthand the barriers families of children with special needs can face. That’s why organizations like Autism Hero Project matter. They see those barriers too, and they choose to step in, create access, support families, and make our communities better.

We’re grateful to be part of a night that celebrates inclusion, acceptance, education, opportunities and impact! Thank you, Tamika and The Autism Hero Project team for everything you’re doing for our community! We’re incredibly grateful to stand alongside you and support this work!

We make graduations a big deal around here because they are a really big deal!!

The decorations. The theme. The planning. The cheering. Every detail matters because behind every graduation is a kiddo, a family and a team who worked incredibly hard to get here.

Maybe it started with potty training. Speaking a first word. Playing with peers. Managing big emotions. Following a routine. Communicating a need. Building independence.

And then, one day, we get to celebrate just how far they’ve come.

Because ABA isn’t meant to be forever. The goal is growth. It’s building meaningful skills and greater independence so our kiddos are ready for whatever comes next.

We follow the data. We trust our teams. We lead with play. And when a kiddo is ready for their next chapter?

We celebrate BIG. 🎉

So whether you’re considering ABA, you just started with us, or you’re wondering when it might be your kiddo’s turn to graduate, we hope you remember this:

Wherever your little one is in their journey, there is so much worth celebrating along the way. 💙

And when their next chapter comes, we’ll be right there cheering them on.

Rain or shine, we came ready to MOVE! ☔️💃💙

We had the best time at the Rising Lights Project Move-A-Thon, an afternoon all about moving our bodies in ways that work for us, having fun, and raising support for an incredible organization!

The rain may have changed the plans a little, but it definitely didn’t stop this crew. We moved, grooved, connected, laughed, and loved getting to meet so many of you along the way!

At The Place, we love joining together with community partners like Rising Lights Project who are helping create more inclusive, welcoming, and accepting spaces where friends of all abilities can participate, connect, and belong. 💙

And if we met you at the Move-A-Thon, we hope you’ll stay connected! Whether your family needs support now or sometime down the road, we’re here with:

✨ No-waitlist autism evaluations for kiddos 12 and under
✨ After-school ABA therapy for kiddos 12 and under
✨ ABA therapy and speech therapy for kiddos 10 and under

Thank you, , for bringing our community together for such a fun and meaningful day. We’re already ready to move with you again! 🕺💃

Chicago families, we’re expanding!

Our After-School ABA Therapy Program is officially coming to our Bronzeville center, extending support for school-age kiddos ages 5–12!

And we have a few spots left to claim.

After the school day ends, there are still so many opportunities to build skills that can help kiddos feel more successful and independent at school, at home, and in their everyday routines.

⭐ Build independence and everyday routines
⭐ Practice communication and social-emotional skills
⭐ Work through challenging or non-preferred tasks
⭐ Build skills for managing frustration and emotions
⭐ Practice greater independence with school-related expectations

And support doesn’t have to happen in separate worlds. Your child’s BCBA can collaborate with their school and IEP team to help create consistency across school, ABA, and home. When clinically appropriate and part of your child’s individualized treatment plan, homework can even be incorporated into ABA sessions.

We also want getting started to feel EASY. We’ll begin with a FREE insurance benefits check so you can understand your coverage and what enrollment could look like for your family.

Ready to see if After-School ABA could be the right fit for your kiddo?
