Your body has a baseline. Knowing it can help you recognize when something changes. 💜

by paying attention to changes in your gynecologic health, including unusual discharge, unexpected bleeding, persistent itching or irritation, changes in odor, pain or discomfort, or anything that simply feels different for you.

A change doesn’t always mean something is wrong, but if it’s new, persistent, or concerning, it’s worth talking about with a healthcare provider.

Knowing your normal means knowing when something is not normal for you. Listen to your body. Ask questions. Advocate for yourself.

At our last Patient & Advocate Education Forum, patients, survivors, caregivers, and advocates were welcomed into a safe and supportive space to learn, connect, and have honest conversations about the topics that matter most.

Together, we shared experiences, gained valuable information, asked important questions, and built meaningful relationships with others who understand the gynecologic cancer journey.

This is the community FWC is proud to bring together, a place where every voice is valued, every story matters, and no one has to navigate their journey alone. Join us for our next event on:

Dear Journal, it’s Week 4… 💜

And I’m finally finding my rhythm!

I thought I had to be ready before I started, but I’m learning that some days I walk, some days I run, and both count.

Training for the Race to End Women’s Cancer isn’t about having the perfect pace. It’s about showing up, moving in a way that feels right for you, and remembering why we’re moving in the first place.

The best part? Your starting line can be anywhere. Whether you’re joining us in Washington, D.C. or participating virtually, we’re all moving toward the same finish line together.

So, what do you say? Come find your rhythm with me. 💜

How many gynecologic cancers can you name?

Many people don't realize that gynecologic cancer isn't a single disease. It includes five distinct cancers: cervical, ovarian, uterine/endometrial, vaginal, and vulvar cancer.

Understanding the five gynecologic cancers is an important step toward recognizing symptoms, seeking care, and advocating for better outcomes.

Throughout Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month, we're sharing facts to help you know the signs and stay informed. 💜

No single organization can end gynecologic cancers alone.

But together, we can reach more people.

This September, organizations from across the gynecologic cancer community are joining together with one shared goal: to increase awareness, encourage conversations, and empower people with knowledge that can save lives.

Throughout Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month, we'll be sharing one unified message each week while bringing our own unique perspectives and expertise to the conversation.
Together, we can raise awareness, inspire action, and help improve outcomes for everyone affected by gynecologic cancers.

💜 Follow along throughout September as we raise our voices—together.

It’s Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month (GCAM), and we’re shining a light on the ribbons that represent the 5 main gynecologic cancers and the symptoms everyone should know.

🩵 Ovarian
🧡 Uterine/Endometrial
🤍 Cervical
💙 Vaginal
💜 Vulvar

Knowing the ribbon is a start. Knowing the symptoms could make a difference.
Know the ribbons. Know the symptoms. Know your body.

Cuterus’ Race Journal, Week 3

Okay, journal… I learned something BIG this week. 👀

Every dollar we raise for the Race to End Women’s Cancer helps support gynecologic cancer research, education and awareness.

So those $5, $25 and $50 donations? They add up! ✨

Suddenly all these steps I’ve been putting in feel even more important.
Plus, you don’t have to race exactly like me. You can join us in D.C., virtually or bring your little racers along for the Kids Fun Run!

Every dollar. Every step. Every one of us can make a difference.

And next week, I’m sharing something a little more personal…

What am I racing for?
See you in my next journal entry!
