In a city known for constant reinvention, our neighborhood yoga school has quietly embodied the very resilience it teaches.
Founded in 2008, our yoga school opened its doors on Clark Street in Andersonville with a clear and unwavering purpose: to help people experience the life-changing benefits of a consistent yoga practice. From the beginning, our mission was not trend-driven, but rooted in discipline, accessibility, and care—offering classes that were both deeply therapeutic and uncompromising in quality.
In those early years, students arrived seeking many things—relief from chronic pain, a way to manage stress, or simply a new form of movement. What they found was something more enduring: a structured, high-quality practice that emphasized healing from the inside out. The school built its reputation not on novelty, but on consistency—holding space day after day for students to return, rebuild, and reconnect with themselves and eventually, with each other. In 2024, we opened our light-filled permanent location, here, just across from Winnemac Park.
In recent years, the school has also expanded its offerings, introducing teacher trainings, yoga retreats, and continuing education opportunities—extending its impact beyond the studio walls and into a wider community of dedicated practitioners.
Nearly two decades after its founding, the school remains in continuous operation—a rarity in an industry often defined by change. Its story is not one of rapid expansion or reinvention, but of quiet persistence.
In an era that often favors the new, this yoga school stands as a reminder that longevity itself can be a form of success—built breath by breath, class by class, and year by year—and sustained by a simple, enduring belief: that when something truly works, it is worth returning to again and again. And so we continue to thrive.
