One of the hardest parts of healing is that progress doesn’t always feel dramatic while it’s happening.
In DBT, growth is often found in the small moments:
choosing to pause, using one skill before reacting, recovering a little faster, noticing emotions a little earlier, asking for support instead of isolating.
These shifts may seem small from the outside — but over time, they can completely change the way life feels.
You do not have to become a completely different person overnight for your progress to be real.
