CWHC is deeply grateful to all members of our monthly giving program, Louise's Circle. Named for longtime CWHC member and client advocate Louise Champlin, Louise's Circle provides crucial support and stability to our services, ensuring we can continue to provide high-quality health care and health education access for thousands of women, trans people, and young people each year.

Because CWHC does not turn anyone away based on ability to pay, individual donors are at the heart of our mission. Please consider supporting our services and programs by joining Louise's Circle at chicagowomenshealthcenter.org/louises-circle.

Special thanks to former Board member and current Louise's Circle donor, Ana Bermudez, pictured here!

White text on a teal background reads: "chicago womens health center dot org forward slash louises hyphen circle." A wavy text overlay toward the center of the image, also in teal and white, reads: "Thank you to our monthly donors!")

Like a tree in a thriving forest ecosystem, CWHC grows in community. At this year’s annual event, Canopy of Care, you’ll hear from three partner organizations about how we nurture networks of care together.

CWHC is proud to partner with Healing to Action! Healing to Action's mission aims to end gender-based violence by building the leadership and collective power of the communities most impacted, transforming the narrative of survivors from vulnerable “victims” to powerful leaders in the movement to end gender-based violence.

We asked HTA what our Canopy of Care makes possible together:
"When survivors and their communities can access the care and healing they need, it breaks down the barriers to them leading powerful movements. Survivors in our survivor leadership program have learned about gender & sexuality through a collaborative workshop between CWHC and Healing to Action, giving them a space to explore topics that are often stigmatized and practice true allyship by creating more inclusive spaces. And when CWHC and Healing to Action's survivor-leaders partnered to advocate for comprehensive sexual health education in Chicago schools, we ensured caregivers had the tools and support needed to engage youth in conversations around consent and healthy relationships to prevent gender-based violence in the new generation. Equipped with new resources, caregivers can promote sexual health education in the very communities that already know and trust them, making an incredible impact as they branch out providing care to more and more people."

(Image description: a photo of two people hugging over a duotone teal background with a tree bark texture. Above the people is white text that reads: "Community partners that make us all stronger." Like a tree in a thriving forest ecosystem, CWHC grows in community. At this year’s annual event, Canopy of Care, you’ll hear from three partner organizations about how we nurture networks of care together.

CWHC is proud to partner with Chicago Abortion Fund! CAF is the largest abortion fund in the country and assists over 20,000 callers a year in accessing the abortion support they want, need, and deserve. CAF offers comprehensive wraparound support and services before, during, and after abortion care through CAF's helpline and other programs.

We asked CAF what our Canopy of Care makes possible together:
"The Chicago Abortion Fund assists people seeking critical healthcare in a way that centers autonomy and dignity. Using an individualized case management approach, CAF staff and volunteers support people in accessing their care by paying for appointment costs and figuring out travel logistics. This support doesn’t end when someone arrives at their appointment— through deepened partnerships with trusted clinics in Illinois, CAF and clinics build an ecosystem together that patients can trust and more easily navigate in an already remarkably confusing landscape. Through partnerships with CWHC, other clinics will soon have doula services available to deepen the support patients have access to. This couldn't be possible without collaboration and trust!"
