Today at SJV, we celebrated the incredible life and legacy of Dolly Parton! 🌸🎶🦋

Residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with some of Dolly’s most memorable music, fun facts from throughout her remarkable career, and plenty of smiles and laughter along the way.

Of course, no Dolly celebration would be complete without a little sparkle! ✨ We enjoyed delicious loaded potato skins while reminiscing, singing along, and celebrating the music and memories Dolly has given us throughout the years.

Special thanks to our Fresh Kitchen team for preparing the delicious loaded potato skins, inspired by Dolly’s well-known love of potatoes!

It was wonderful to see such a great turnout and our residents enjoying an afternoon filled with good food, great music, and even better company. 💕🎤

🌴🌺 Aloha from SJV! 🌴🌺

Our Annual Luau was such a wonderful time! Residents, families and associates came together as a community for an afternoon filled with delicious food, music, dancing, laughter and plenty of island fun!

And of course, we have to introduce the star of the show — Ernie the Pig! 🐷 He definitely made an entrance! Our four-legged friend Copper the dog joined in on the festivities too!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing Fresh Kitchen Team for preparing such a delicious spread and helping make our luau extra special. Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better!

Good food, great company, beautiful smiles and memories made! This is what enriching lives is all about , creating moments of joy, connection and togetherness not only for our residents, but for our entire SJV community.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day from SJV! 🐾

Today we celebrated our furry friends with a special prayer and Blessing of the Animals by Father Mike as we honored St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.

After the blessing, our four-legged guests enjoyed their pup cups and of course, we had “pup cups” (ice cream) for the humans too! 😂🐾

Such a sweet afternoon filled with faith, wagging tails, and lots of smiles! 💙

Somewhere over the rainbow at St. Joseph Village… 🌈✨

Today we celebrated the 87th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz!

Our team had so much fun getting into character and bringing a little bit of Oz to SJV. From Dorothy and Glinda to the Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Tornado, the Wizard…and of course the Wicked Witch 🧙🏽‍♀️, everyone played their part!

A special thank you to our Fresh Kitchen team for keeping the theme going with Over the Rainbow Fruit Cups 🌈🍓 and Tornado Pinwheel Sandwiches 🌪️, while Life Enrichment popped up some Yellow Brick Road Popcorn 🍿💛 for the movie!

Great teamwork, lots of laughs, and a fun afternoon with our residents. 💕
