Big news for people with type 2 diabetes🥳
Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is now FDA-approved to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events, including heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death, in adults with type 2 diabetes who have cardiovascular disease or are at high risk. Another reminder that diabetes treatment is about so much more than just lowering blood sugar.
