“Premature motherhood is still motherhood”.
Do not feel guilty. 🤍
If your baby arrived too soon, please hear this: it was not your fault.
It’s so common to carry quiet guilt after a premature birth — grieving the weeks you didn’t get, the kicks you didn’t feel longer, the pregnancy that ended before you were ready. At the same time, you’re overwhelmingly grateful your baby is here. Both feelings can exist together.
But premature birth is not a failure. Your body did not fail. You did not fail.
Your baby didn’t need a “perfect” timeline. They needed you — your love, your presence, your strength when they arrived. And you showed up.
Premature motherhood is still motherhood. It is strong. It is brave. And it is enough. 🤍
