We’re more connected than ever… so why are so many people feeling alone?
Somewhere along the way, we lost the places where connection used to happen naturally: diners, coffee shops, libraries, parks, barbershops, community centers.
These spaces are called *third places* — not home, not work, but places where you could simply exist with other people.
And they mattered.
Third places created small moments of belonging: a familiar face, a quick conversation, a sense of routine. But as these spaces disappear, loneliness is rising too.
💙 The good news? Connection can still be rebuilt — slowly and intentionally.
