Happy American Sign Language Day! ✨

On April 15th, 1817, the first school for deaf individuals opened in America. Since then, this day has been used to promote the inclusion, support, learning, and advocacy for ASL— a vibrant language that gives a voice to hundreds of thousands of people!

While there are many ways to celebrate this day— we encourage you to take time to learn one new word in ASL!

April is Autism Awareness Month, and April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day 💙

We’ve heard families say, “Why do we need this? We live it every day.”

And honestly… we hear you.
And we’re sorry.

Sorry that so many families have had to carry this on their own.
Sorry that you’ve had to explain, advocate, and push just to be understood.
Sorry that inclusion hasn’t always felt the way it should.

We know autism doesn’t come and go with a month.
It’s every single day—every routine, every challenge, every win.

This month isn’t meant to ignore that.
It’s meant to help the rest of the world catch up.

To learn more.
To listen better.
To show up differently.

Because awareness isn’t enough.
Acceptance matters.
But belonging is the goal.

A world where your child doesn’t have to fight to be included—
they just are.

We see you. We hear you. And we’re working to do better.

Not just this month—but every day after.
