🎒✏️ Sending kids back to school with love!💙

Our residents came together for a back-to-school packing party, helping fill school supply bags for our associates’ children. Thanks to the generosity of our families, we had plenty of supplies to pack—and our residents were so proud to play a part in giving back to the people who make our community so special. 📚🥰

If the holiday decorations are already showing up in stores (they are), it’s okay to start thinking about the months ahead.

You walk into the store for school supplies or Halloween decorations, and there they are – Christmas trees, menorahs, ornaments, and twinkling lights. For many families caring for a loved one with dementia, this is also the moment another thought quietly arrives: “How are we going to do the holidays this year?” If you’re asking yourself that question, you’re not alone.

The holidays can be beautiful, but they can also bring new challenges for someone living with dementia, and for the family members who love them. Starting the conversation early can help everyone feel more prepared, more present, and less overwhelmed when the season arrives.

🍉 Who says you shouldn’t play with your food? Our talented culinary team turned ordinary watermelons into works of art for our Annual National Watermelon Carving Contest, and our residents took their judging duties very seriously!

Congratulations to Jay, our 2026 Watermelon Carving Contest Champion! We celebrated with fresh watermelon, homemade watermelon pico de gallo, and plenty of sunshine. Days like this remind us that this is what summer is all about! 🍉
