September has been Perimenopause Awareness Month, and we are incredibly honored to be featured in ESSENCE ✨

For too long, the years leading up to menopause have been a mystery, and women are often told to “just deal” with symptoms like brain fog, sleep disruption, and anxiety. In this beautiful feature, our founder Gudrun Wu Snyder discusses how Traditional Chinese Medicine views this transition. Not as a decline, but as a powerful new chapter where a woman’s authority increases.

A huge thank you to Bridgette Bartlett Royall and the ESSENCE team for holding space for this vital conversation and helping us shift the narrative 💫

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 🌕🐇🥮

Every year, families gather beneath the full moon to celebrate reunion, abundance and the people they love.

And somewhere in the stories surrounding that moon are an immortal goddess named Chang’e and rabbit with a mortar and pestle, a story especially close to our hearts.

We shared the legends of Chang’e, Hou Yi and the Jade Rabbit, the history of mooncakes, and what autumn represents in Chinese Medicine over on the Moon Rabbit blog.

And if you’re visiting us this weekend: through Sunday, September 27, every guest who books a treatment or makes a purchase at our West Loop or Lincoln Park locations will receive a mooncake to take home, while supplies last 🥮

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival from all of us at Moon Rabbit. May you find a little time tonight to look up 🌕
