September Special Facial: Bright & Tight Enzyme Facial

A facial that improves skin overall health and tackles unwanted sun damage; it’s the perfect treatment to say goodbye to summer!

We begin this facial with 20 min of custom gua sha facial massage. During this facial massage, we can address any specific needs like facial muscle tension, fine lines, neck and jawline definition, fluid buildup, etc. After the gua sha, your skin will be more alive, healthier, and ready to receive skincare!

An exfoliating papaya enzyme is applied to the skin with light facial steaming to break down any surface dead cells and debris, as well as start the brightening process. Afterward, any needed extractions of blackheads or whiteheads are performed. Then, 10 minutes of Blue LED and Infrared light therapy treat the skin to kill bacteria, reduce inflammation, and heal. Post-LED therapy, an enzyme blend treatment fluid is applied to the skin and massaged in until it absorbs. This enzyme treatment is one of my favorites! It’s a special blend of brightening AHAs and a PHA, plus potent antioxidants. This enzyme treatment fluid fights sun damage and makes skin look more even in tone overall; the product stays on your skin like a treatment serum for the remainder of the day or evening. Hydration concentrate serum and moisturizer are applied to finish the treatment, and cooling facial globes are used for one final firming effect and some invigoration.

**Some skin types may experience slight shedding or ‘peeling’ for 1-3 days post-treatment.

This massage movement might be a bit advanced but I know most of my folks here heavily upped their facial massage game over the years, so I trust you'll be able to get this one down 😉

What we are doing here is creating the tiniest gentle tug in the skin that helps improve the health of our elastin fibers, that keep our skin firm and bouncy and wrinkle free for as long as possible.

Try it and let me know how you like it! With all facial massage, results are accumulative and we get better results the more consistent that we are. I suggest doing this every other day. And then let me know if you have a firmer neck in a few weeks ✨😊

A combination of botanical ingredients and specific facial massage techniques that leaves your skin fresh, glowing, and healthy. Herbal poultice, gua sha, and a hydrating manuka honey mask are all popular holistic ingredients and treatments in my skincare studio. Get ready to experience them all! 🌱

We begin with our signature double cleanse before the scrub me antioxidant exfoliating paste is used for softening and decongesting during steam. Any needed extractions of blackheads or whiteheads are done, followed by calming CBD toner.
After exfoliation and deep cleansing, a rejuvenating facial massage using a warm herbal poultice ball and gua sha stones is performed. This special face massage is deeply relaxing but also creates contour and brings skin to life by releasing tight muscles and fascia as well as bringing oxygen and circulation flow straight to the surface. Bonus! The herbs from the Thai herbal poultice ball help our skin look luminous.
