It is with great pleasure we share that Dr. Rebecca Tanenbaum, MD will join UCSF's Pediatric Ophthalmology faculty. Dr. Tanenbaum, MD is deeply committed to improving access and quality of pediatric ophthalmology care to underserved populations. She has gained expertise in the screening and care of patients with retinopathy of prematurity, pediatric cataracts, ophthalmic trauma, and multidisciplinary care for patients with pediatric genetic syndromes. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation of pediatric ophthalmologist, and serves as a faculty advisor for the monthly ophthalmology shelter clinic where she mentors learners while providing care to vulnerable members of the bay area community. We are so proud of you!!!
