I heard an osprey chirping; I figured he was telling me to get my camera.
I complied.
Apparently…I’m not the only one that was enjoying sunset tonight. 🌅
I got a couple different snapshots before he photobombed the sunset.
Wildlife photographers would say that last image is too blurry.
I tend to think it was pretty magical.🥰
Anybody catch the solar/ring flare?🧡

Nature sometimes speaks in patterns, waiting for us to tune in. This hummingbird swings through every morning to serenade me during sunrise. This morning, I set my tripod and Nikon where I predicted he’d land, dialed in the focus to where I hoped he’d land (on the string of lights), then used a remote trigger to capture the images when he showed up as the Sun came up. I think he knew what was happening, as I took about 50 different shots of the Sun silhouetting him. Light: refracting, wrapping, illuminating…inspiring. ☀️💛

It’s been a long while since I’ve grabbed my camera and rambled. Tonight was a quick jaunt up the levee to capture the full moon tonight break out of the clouds. The skeeters ganged up on me tho!😩
