Enloe Health is highlighting patients and their bariatric surgery success stories thanks to Enloe Health Bariatric & Metabolic Services.

Meet Ann. She had surgery in 2016 and over the last 10 years, lost 133 pounds! Ann says her journey, like most, has had ups and downs. But she trusted the journey and tools provided by Enloe Health Bariatric & Metabolic Services.

“Sometimes we are having so much fun enjoying our new healthy life and all the new experiences that come with it, that we divert from our original destination,” Ann said. “Luckily, those tools we have packed away can be pulled back out and we can get back on the path to our original destination of a healthy future.”

We’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to Subaru of Chico for their continued support through the Subaru Share the Love Event! Subaru of Chico recently donated $13,050 to support Enloe Health’s Where the Need Is Greatest fund, ensuring support reaches patients and programs when and where it’s needed most. This brings their total giving to Enloe Health for the last 10 years to an incredible $153,16.59. This includes $64,503.59 in support of the Enloe Health Gonzales Comprehensive Cancer Center. Congratulations to the 2026 Quality Summit Award winners!

At this year’s Quality Summit, we celebrated innovation and quality improvement across the organization, with 101 poster submissions and three standout award-winning projects.

The Sepsis Committee earned the Marcia Nelson, M.D., Quality Summit Award while the Quality Summit Awards went to the Heart Failure Clinic and the Infection Prevention team.
