Here’s a fresh idea!

Whole Foods Co-op and Essentia Health believe in making healthy produce more accessible. That’s the seed that’s blossomed into Fresh Dollars — a new initiative designed to make fresh fruits and vegetables more accessible and affordable for anyone enrolled in a public assistance program.

Every Tuesday, qualifying participants can spend up to $10 on fresh produce at Whole Foods Co-op and receive an equal amount in Fresh Dollars to use on a future shopping trip.

We’re proud to partner with Whole Foods Co-op to help make nutritious food more affordable and accessible for more neighbors across the Northland.

A beautiful moment in the middle of a difficult journey.

After a serious ATV accident, Darrin Garner has been recovering at Essentia-St. Mary’s Medical Center. But recently, he had a reason to celebrate: Darrin officiated his son Ross’s wedding from the 9th floor of St. Mary’s, surrounded by his wife, Angie, and other loving family members.

His recovery continues, but this special day was a powerful reminder of the love and support that surrounds him.

Quarry Days brought Sandstone together for a weekend of community and celebration!

Our colleagues were thrilled to join the parade and celebrate the ribbon cutting of Bookmatch Apartments, which transformed the historic former Sandstone school into new workforce housing. Essentia Health is proud to support this housing project and provide 32 housewarming gifts — one for each new tenant.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that honors its history and builds for the future.
