Many women have been taught that productivity equals worth.

We celebrate being busy. We praise exhaustion as dedication. We convince ourselves that once everything is finished, then we'll finally rest.

But somehow, the list never ends.

Rest isn't something you earn after you've emptied yourself. It is one of the ways you return home to yourself.

When you ignore your own needs long enough, burnout becomes inevitable. You become disconnected from yourself while trying so hard to stay connected to everyone else.

Give yourself permission today to pause without guilt. Read a chapter of a book. Sit quietly with your thoughts. Take a walk. Drink your coffee while it's still warm.

Small moments of rest create lasting healing.

Where did you first learn that rest had to be earned?

Our office family has lost a beautiful light. Lisa served as our Administrative assistant and Credentialing Specialist at Life In Balance for over 8 years. She was such a beautiful welcoming face that greeted each client with kindness and service. She brought much joy to everyone in our office and in our community. We loved her very much and will miss her more than words can express.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her devoted husband Mike, her children and grandchildren, her mother, and all that loved her dearly.

🧠🌱
May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Not everything you’re carrying is visible.
Not everything you’re feeling needs to be fixed today.

This month isn’t about having it all together…
it’s about noticing, understanding, and being a bit kinder to yourself.

Small things count:
• getting out of bed
• sending that message
• taking a breath instead of pushing through

Because being healthy starts from the inside 🤍

✨ In a world that moves fast, it’s easy to forget the power of taking a pause.
Snoopy, sitting quietly on his beloved doghouse, reminds us that it's okay to simply stop and let our thoughts slow down.
In those moments of stillness, we realize that we’ve already survived so much, and sometimes, the best thing we can do is rest and reflect. 🌙✨
