We offer ADHD management, sports and DOTD physicals, women's health visits, children's immunizations and more! Megan Deshotel Barousse was born and raised in Church Point, Louisiana. She is the daughter of the late Harold Deshotel and Sheryl Deshotel; step-daughter of Phyllis Deshotel; sister of Chris Deshotel and granddaughter of the late Norris and Evon Melancon, Felix Deshotel and Jane Chiasson

. She attended Our Mother of Peace and is a graduate of Church Point High School. In 2006, she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Upon earning her nursing degree, she began working in the fast-paced emergency department at Opelousas General Health System. While working at OGHS, Megan realized she wanted to further her education to serve as a family nurse practitioner. She enrolled in the master's program at Northwestern State University and graduated as a family nurse practitioner in 2013. In the summer of 2013, she began working at Fleur de Lis Community Health in Cankton, Louisiana. In 2014, she transferred to the Church Point location of Fleur de Lis. Megan has garnered the respect of her patients and community by providing exceptional health care in an atmosphere where patients feel valued and understood. The opening of the Barousse Family Clinic is a dream come true for Megan and her team. Megan is married to Koby Barousse and together they have four children: Aidan, Bella, Eli and Nash.

Barousse Family Clinic is available for appointments Monday March 30th through Wednesday April 1st. In observance of Holy Thursday which is April 2nd, our office will NOT have a provider on site. Our staff will be available to schedule appointments and answer any questions you may have on Thursday. We will be closed on Good Friday, April 3rd. Please call 337-684-8001 to schedule your appointments and discuss any medication refills that are needed.💜✝️
