🦈🌊 Shark Week Was a Splash at Aventura at West Park! 🌊🦈
Our residents had a fin-tastic time celebrating Shark Week with a week full of creativity, laughter, and summer fun! 💙
The festivities included exciting shark races, relaxing outdoor patio time with a fishing pool, and getting creative with shark-themed nails. 💅🦈 Residents even showed off their artistic skills during a fun bikini drawing contest! 🎨👙
Of course, no Shark Week celebration would be complete without a delicious treat — our residents enjoyed fried fish as part of the fun! 🐟😋
We also made a splash with a trip to the pool, enjoying sunshine, relaxation, and great company. ☀️🏊‍♀️

Resident Spotlight: Ms. Gail 💙
When Ms. Gail needed rehabilitation after a hospital stay, choosing Aventura at West Park felt like coming home. Having previously worked here, she was happy to see familiar faces and even recognized some of her former co-workers who are still part of our team today.
Ms. Gail came to Aventura to regain her strength, improve her balance, and get back on her feet. She especially enjoyed working with Christian each morning, saying, "Christian comes in every morning and gets me walking, and I really enjoy the exercise."
She also appreciated the welcoming atmosphere throughout her stay. "Everyone is so nice, and so friendly!" she shared. One day, after getting turned around in the building, a fellow resident kindly helped her find her way back to her room—a moment that reminded her just how caring our community is.
As Ms. Gail prepares to return home, she reflected on her experience with a smile: "It's really nice here. I don't mind staying, but I am ready to go home."
Thank you, Ms. Gail, for allowing us to be part of your recovery journey. We wish you continued health, happiness, and all the best as you head home!

What a wonderful time at the 48th Annual Lucille Chenault Senior Citizens & Disabled Person's Ball! 💙
Residents from Aventura at West Park enjoyed an afternoon filled with music, dancing, laughter, and great company. It was a special opportunity to celebrate our seniors, make new memories, and spend time with friends in the community.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this annual event such a success. We appreciate all the hard work and hospitality that went into creating a fun and memorable day for our residents.

🎯🎉 It was game time at Aventura at West Park!
Residents had a blast playing Plinko, cheering as the chips bounced their way to the winning spots. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition as everyone waited to see where each chip would land!

💙✨ Last Friday, we celebrated an incredible milestone for Ms. Hauser at Aventura at West Park.
After facing health challenges and a difficult transition, Ms. Hauser found strength, support, and a renewed sense of belonging. She shared, "I knew I was safe. I know the staff and my friends here would make sure I was safe."
Along the way, she discovered a love for activities she never thought she'd enjoy—from crafts and Wii games to tea parties, music, and movies. What once felt unfamiliar has become part of a vibrant community she now loves being a part of.
As Ms. Hauser graduated from rehab and transitioned to assisted living, her words said it best: "I feel safe." We are honored to be part of her journey and look forward to seeing her continue to thrive.

💙 A Story of Compassion, Comfort, and Connection at Aventura at West Park
Not every success story is about rehabilitation or returning home — sometimes, it’s about finding a place that truly feels like home.
Todd Lindeman came to Aventura at West Park after experiencing care at several other facilities. While he initially followed referrals and chose communities where he had friends, he knew it was time for a change.
After making the move to Aventura at West Park, Todd found a welcoming environment where he feels supported, valued, and cared for. “The staff are all so nice to me here,” he shared.
Now receiving hospice care, Todd’s story is a reminder that quality care is about more than a destination — it’s about compassion, dignity, and creating a place where residents feel comfortable and connected through every chapter of life.
We are honored to provide a family-like atmosphere where residents feel at home. 💙
