There are usually signs

With those signs there are lessons.

Some people get to learn them the easy way. Be like them.

It’s the hard stuff that gets the most juice from the squeeze.

Moving better means moving better under control and intensity. For most of you guys, gravity is not enough.

If you’re triggered by these, then you’re right I made these for you.

Barbells are just a tool, they are indifferent about you. They’re not good or bad they just are.

Here’s my shoulder rehab plan. The key difference is in the nuance in simple tweaks so I can keep training yet rehab my shoulder.

- elevated floor press.
I should be doing a heavy tempo of about 3 to 5 seconds but I got excited. and I’m using pads underneath my back to increase the range that my elbows go back behind my back. This is kind of like needing in the middle of a floor press in a regular bench press. A.k.a. I’m increasing my range of motion as tolerated.

- inverted rows
we don’t stop training back, baby!

- tempo paused, shoulder press.
i’m using tempo into the available comfortable range of motion that I have and pausing for a little extra razzle dazzle.

-tempo weighted deficit push-ups
Close kinetic chain movements have felt better than open chain. So I’m OK to push the range of motion here. I’m still keeping a good tempo for more specific tendon application. And the chest pump is just immaculate still despite the shoulder injury.

- Big Biceps
It’s gonna make your RKC Way better

I haven’t stopped lifting. I’m not doing low level banded exercise exercises that don’t move the needle. I’m not blaming my posture for my shoulder pain.

I’m just taking a more strategic position for my training schedule. It literally is that simple.

Who knew the world was filled with all this drama?

And who knew the world was filled with grifters. Napoleon Hill warned us of these people back in the 30s.

I stopped watching this show after the first season so, I never saw this clip.

I’ve been in the industry long enough now to see these trends come and go on a first hand basis. And that’s why you talk to the people that have been in the industry for a while because they’ve seen multiple decades of this now. It’s very interesting hearing people like Dave Tate speak on all these things because he is literally seen and done it all and worked with people who have done the same.

They’re all trends from people who don’t want to put in the work or the effort or the time.

Literally. And I’m back to full range pressing now.

And more or less regular rolling on the mats.

Proper load management first.
