I’m excited to officially share that I have begun a new chapter in private practice at Next Level Counseling & Empowerment Center! 🙌🏾💙

First, thank you all so much for the love and congratulations — your support means everything as I step into this next level of purpose and service.

Many have asked, “What does a LISW do?”
As a LISW, I am licensed to provide clinical mental health therapy independently — meaning I assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. In private practice, I create a safe, supportive space where healing and growth are possible, and clients are empowered to take back control of their lives.

At Next Level, I specialize in helping people navigate:

🌱 Teen Mental Health (building coping skills, identity support, managing emotions)

We offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions for teens, meeting them where they are—emotionally and logistically.

✨ I DID IT! ✨

I’m officially a Licensed Independent Social Worker—and wow, it’s been a fight to finish strong. 💪🏾 The messages, love, and congratulations have truly overwhelmed me in the best way. So many people have said, “You deserve it and more.” And honestly? I receive that. Fully. Humbly. Gratefully. 💛

People keep asking, “What’s next?”

The truth is… I have so many things I’m excited to launch and explore—projects, services, new opportunities for growth both personally and professionally. But above all else, what fuels me most is the impact I get to make. The lives I get to touch. The healing I get to support. The hope I get to help restore.

I’ve walked alongside people in their darkest moments and watched them rise, find themselves, and grow into more than they imagined. That’s the real win for me.

But if I can be honest… I’ve also watched people gain success and lose sight of their character. I’ve witnessed growth without grace, elevation without empathy, and wins that left a trail of broken connections.

Let me be clear:

Growth without integrity is empty.

Success without kindness is hollow.

Achievements mean little if people don’t leave your presence feeling seen, valued, and respected.

If there’s one thing I want to be known for in this next chapter—beyond titles, business, or brand—it’s this:

🌱 That I treated people well.

🌱 That I left them better than I found them.

🌱 That my impact wasn’t just in what I did, but who I chose to be.

So yes, I’m celebrating this milestone. But I’m also recommitting myself to leading with heart, staying rooted in purpose, and making a forever impact—one person at a time. 💫

Finding Peace in God

Losing my son has been the hardest journey of my life, but in the midst of my deepest pain, God spoke to my heart with a truth that has given me peace:

“He is not just your son—he’s Mine.”

Those words changed everything for me. As much as I love my son, God loves him even more. As much as I wanted to protect him, God is the ultimate protector. And though my arms long to hold him, I find comfort knowing he is safe, whole, and in the presence of the One who created him.

I move forward not because the pain disappears, but because I trust in the sovereignty of a God who is good, even when life feels unbearable. I know that through Jesus Christ, this separation is only temporary—we will meet again. Until then, I rest in the promise that my son is in the best hands possible: God’s.

If you are grieving, know that you are not alone. There is peace to be found in surrendering to the One who holds it all. 🩵
