Animals can play a meaningful role in supporting children's emotional well-being. Interacting with animals can help reduce stress, build trust, encourage connection, and create opportunities for children to develop confidence and social skills.

💚 Today is World Mental Health Day.
Mental health matters at EVERY age—including childhood.

Children experience anxiety, trauma, grief, overwhelming emotions, behavioral challenges, relationship difficulties, and other mental health needs just like adults.

Early support gives children an opportunity to understand what they're feeling and begin developing skills they can carry with them as they grow.

It's never too early to start talking about mental health.

Our Kids Thrive Toledo team was honored to participate in the Out of the Darkness Walk for Su***de Prevention.

Walking together is a powerful reminder that no one should have to face their struggles alone. We are proud of our staff for showing up to support su***de prevention, mental health awareness, and a community filled with hope and connection.

Together, we walk for those we’ve lost, those who are struggling, and a future where everyone knows that their life matters. 💜

Kids Thrive loved being part of the For the Love of Kids Festival with Beech Acres Parenting Center!

Our team had so much fun connecting with families and community partners — and we brought a little Halloween fun with our Spooky Sensory Station! 🎃👻

Kids had the chance to explore, play, and engage their senses while enjoying all the festival had to offer.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect with our community, share what Kids Thrive is all about, and support children and families in fun and meaningful ways.
