➡️ At the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, IRH REI physician Dr. Michael Scheiber shares research and clinical insights on MENOPUR® and its role in controlled ovarian stimulation, highlighting the evidence behind FSH/LH activity in ART.

➡️ Equally meaningful is the collegiality among IRH physicians. This serves as a reminder that progress in fertility care is driven by both scientific innovation and shared expertise. Progress in reproductive medicine is built not only on rigorous research but also on the exchange of ideas and collaboration among colleagues. 🌱 Years at IRH: I started at the front desk in 2011 and have been a Patient Coordinator and New Patient Scheduler since 2017.
🎉 I’ll celebrate 1️⃣6️⃣ years at IRH in January 2027!

➡️What do you enjoy most about your role? "I’m a very anxious patient myself, so I understand how scary and overwhelming this can feel. I love having the opportunity to be a warm and helpful first point of contact for our patients, so they hopefully feel a little more at ease and confident as they begin this next chapter of their fertility journey."

➡️What is one thing you want patients to know? "Sometimes reaching out for help is the hardest part. Please know that even in these early stages, I am here to support you, and I truly enjoy helping new patients get connected with the right care and making their first experience with us a positive one."

➡️What is a fun fact about you?
"I have a cat named Artemis (after the Greek goddess) 🌜, and a dog named Lili (formally known as Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth) 🤣"

"We got married in 2019 and started trying to conceive in 2021, after I finally completed my education. Many of our friends were pregnant or recently had babies and we were excited to have one too so they could all be close in age! We never thought we would have issues.

After 1 year of trying, we met the wonderful team at IRH! Dr. Burwinkel was kind and knowledgable, answering our many questions we had at our consultation. Walking out, we were confident with our plans to pursue timed in*******se and hopeful it would work quickly. Unfortunately, we progressed through 3 timed in*******se cycles, 6 IUI cycles, and started thinking about IVF. We started the IVF process in summer 2023. After 2 miscarriages and 3 failed IVF transfers, it was decided we would transfer 2 embryos with our 4th transfer in early 2025. No one knew, but we had decided this would be our last cycle and if it didn’t work, it was God’s plan. After a miscarriage scare on a snowy Sunday, Dr. Awadalla shared the news that we were not miscarrying, but actually had TWO healthy heartbeats!! God sure had a plan for us; we just needed to wait for his timing.

We now have beautiful, smart, sassy TWIN girls who just celebrated their first birthday in September! We are so incredibly thankful for the constant support from the IRH team throughout our infertility journey! From the difficult phones calls to celebrating our twins and everything in between, we couldn’t have done it without them! We cannot thank them enough for helping us on our journey to twins!"

Today, we remember the babies who were loved, longed for, and deeply missed. We honor the families who carry that love and loss with them every day.

At the Institute for Reproductive Health, we recognize the many emotions that can be part of the journey to parenthood. We hold space for those navigating loss and honor every journey with compassion, understanding, and care. 💕

➡️What do you enjoy most about your role?
I love being able to support patients throughout their reproductive journey. Coming from a Labor & Delivery background, it’s especially meaningful to now care for patients at the beginning of that journey and help them feel supported, informed, and cared for along the way.
➡️What is one thing you want patients to know?
You are never “just another patient.” Your journey matters, your questions matter, and you deserve to feel heard, supported, and cared for every step of the way.
➡️What is a fun fact about you?
I’m also a Labor & Delivery nurse and have loved working with women and families throughout my nursing career. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me planning my next Disney trip, traveling, or hanging out with my very spoiled dog, Rhys!

"IRH provided us with counsel and guidance during our infertility journey. We never gave up hope during the three years at IRH trying to start a family because of the care they provided us as a couple. After three long years, 3 IUIs and 4 IVF transfers we were blessed with the most perfect baby boy named Fitzgerald. He is our whole world and we recommend IRH to anyone with infertility struggles. The community IRH has provided us has supported us for the last several years, and we are so appreciative of them as a staff and as humans.”

"When my husband and I married in 2017, we were aiming for a honeymoon baby. After multiple anniversaries passed with no success, we each had someone recommend Dr. Awadalla and IRH. At every step of the way, we were offered research-based options, so we never felt pressured. While our journey still had more failures and loss, we were always offered options, as narrow as those options were becoming. With our literal last embryo, they found what worked and our son was born in May 2025. We can never thank IRH enough for helping us realize our greatest dream!"
