Jimmy was recently appointed to the Board, adding his voice and perspective as True North Network continues to grow and serve Ohio’s I/DD provider community.

As a member-driven association, True North Network is committed to ensuring our members have a voice in the issues that matter most. Our Board works to listen to member feedback, identify priorities, and help guide the association’s work to meet the needs of Ohio’s IDD providers.

We’re glad to have Jimmy serving on the Board and look forward to the work ahead!

Congratulations to Megan Goettemoeller, a THS Supported Living and THS RSS client, on being welcomed as a new board member of the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services (MCBDDS)! 🎉

Megan was inducted at the October Board meeting, and her term runs through December 2030. She shares, “Being a board member gives me a voice to help advocate for those who may not be able to speak for themselves.”

The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services (MCBDDS) welcomed Megan Goettemoeller as a new Board Member during an induction ceremony at its October Board meeting. Her term will run through December 2030.

“Being a board member gives me a voice to help advocate for those who may not be able to speak for themselves. It also gives me a space to share my experiences and help guide decisions in a meaningful way,” Goettemoeller said.

For THS RSS, showing up for Toward Independence is par for the course. Today, four of our team members played in the 33rd Annual Benefit Golf Scramble at Beavercreek Golf Club, where we were proud to serve as an Eagle Sponsor on behalf of ATLAS | Advanced Care Systems at this long-standing event.

Our March Staff Members of the Month are a dynamic duo — Service Coordinator Karla Lust and Remote Supports/Assistive Tech Specialty Service Coordinator Amanda Brehm. These two were nominated by a provider, THS Remote Support Services. Their nominee wrote: "I've had the pleasure of working closely with Amanda Brehm and, more recently, Karla Lust. Both have absolutely blown me away with their creativity and dedication to finding the best supports tailored to each person's unique needs. They embody true person-centered thinking, balancing what the individual wants with what the "experts" believe is needed.
Amanda understands the rules like the back of her hand and knows how to use them innovatively. She has a gift for getting people excited about what can sometimes feel like a scary topic - technology - and she does so in a way that builds confidence and enthusiasm.
Karla is equally impressive. She isn't afraid to lean into her deep knowledge of the people she supports to design least-intrusive, creative, and highly effective solutions.
