Today we were asked to es**rt young Tommy Perez III on his Ride to Eternity by his Mother Tiffani and family. It was our honor to fullfill that request today. A little cold weather didnt stop us from also fullfilling a mother’s request by allowing her to ride with me, so she could share in her boys final motorcycle ride. What was for sure today was echoed by all in attendance was that “Tommy would Love this”

Thank you to Tobias Funeral Home for all that you do….

Ronald Gene Sandusky Obituary
Ronald Gene Sandusky, 52, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on the evening of September 28, 2025.

Ron was born in Monmouth, New Jersey on November 17, 1972 to the late Clifton and Betty Sandusky. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Beulah Miller and Jean Land.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Sandusky; children, Amanda Wheeler (Joe), and Kirstie Wright (Donald); stepdaughters, Alexa Griffith, and Sydni Griffith; grandchildren, Jaxson Wheeler, Aubrey Wheeler, Aliyah Griffith, and Juniper Griffith; and his brother, Kermit Sandusky.

Ron was a man who lived life with passion and freedom, and nothing brought him more joy than riding his motorcycle. Whether it was a quick ride around town or a long trip winding through the breathtaking mountains of Tennessee, he cherished every moment on the open road. His motorcycle wasn’t just a machine to him—it was a way to connect with nature, clear his mind, and embrace adventure. Just as much as he loved the road, Ron loved being surrounded by his family and friends, always finding time to laugh, share stories, and create lasting memories with them. To those who knew him, he will always be remembered as someone who valued the thrill of the ride and the warmth of the people he loved most.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, Amelia, on Thursday, October 9th from 5:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th, at 11:00 AM at Salem Cemetery in Liberty, Kentucky.
