This week, we’re excited to recognize Rebecca Donohue from our OB Float Pool!

Rebecca has been a nurse for 23 years, with 8 of those years right here at GSH. Her years of dedication and experience are something worth celebrating!

When asked what makes GSH special to her, Rebecca shared: “Good Sam is special to me because of the great teamwork and the relationships that are built on and off the unit. I love being a part of the OB Float Pool and having the opportunity to support moms and families during one of the most memorable times of their lives.”

This week, we're excited to recognize Ashley Winkler, a registered nurse who has been part of the GSH family for 1 year and 3 months!

Ashley appreciates the incredible teamwork on the Mother-Baby Unit and the support of her managers. It's that sense of teamwork and connection that makes GSH special for her!

Outside or work, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, being involved with her church, traveling and exploring new places, enjoying the outdoors, and working with babies and kids.

Today we wanted to look to October 2022 for our post, as we mark four years since the groundbreaking of the major $240 million project to transform Good Samaritan Hospital into a medical campus of the future!

Led by TriHealth's former President & CEO Mark Clement and Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval, the groundbreaking represented the next step forward in advancing TriHealth’s mission to provide our patients with convenient world-class healthcare at state-of-the-art facilities. The project's vision and construction, since stewarded on by TriHealth's newly-appointed President & CEO Terri Hanlon-Bremer, is transforming Good Sam into one of the region’s most technologically advanced healthcare hubs with dedicated inpatient and outpatient buildings and a new Emergency Department.

🌟 Team Member Tuesday Spotlight 🌟

This week, we're excited to feature Hailey Sicurella, RN!

For the past 2 years, Hailey has been making a difference at Good Samaritan Hospital through her compassion, teamwork, and dedication to both her patients and colleagues. 💙

Outside of work, Hailey enjoys cooking and baking, often trying out new recipes and sharing homemade treats with her coworkers as a way to show her appreciation. She also loves exploring all that Cincinnati has to offer, with favorites including Ault Park, the Cincinnati Zoo, and Findlay Market.

When asked what she loves most about GSH, Hailey shared that it's the culture and values that make it feel like more than just a workplace. She values being part of a team that supports one another through challenges, celebrates successes together, and genuinely feels like family.

"There is a strong sense of compassion, teamwork, and respect that makes coming to work meaningful. I'm proud to be part of a community where we care not only for our patients, but also for one another."

Today for , we're looking back to when Good Samaritan Hospital dedicated a newly opened OB-GYN training room to Dr. Michael Baggish in October 2024!

Baby Cafe USA is an organization dedicated to providing free, drop-in sites that provide ongoing professional lactation care in a welcoming and informal setting. Prostate cancer was far from Jeff's mind when came in for his routine annual primary care checkup... instead, he had an appointment that would change his life when he ended up receiving his diagnosis.

Although it shocked him, he could tell he was in good hands.
