Sexual health concerns get dismissed more than almost anything else in midlife care.

Low desire is usually the first thing waved off as "just stress." But it's rarely just one thing. Hormones, sleep, stress, and medications often shift together, which makes it easy to blame the wrong one.

Pain during s*x gets dismissed too, usually as "just age." It's often connected to declining estrogen, which makes vaginal tissue thinner, drier, and less elastic.

None of this is something to just live with, and you don't have to figure it out alone. Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati is here when you're ready.

Great physicians deserve a practice built around great care.

At Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati, we've built a physician-led practice where comprehensive, relationship-centered care isn't limited by the traditional primary care model. Smaller patient panels, longer appointments, and a collaborative team create the space to think critically, practice evidence-based medicine, and build lasting relationships with patients.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced, board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician with at least five years of post-residency experience to join our team.

If you're looking for a professional home where comprehensive, relationship-centered care is the standard—not the exception—we'd love to hear from you.

Do you have questions about the new Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program?

The Bridge Program may help certain Medicare Part D patients access an eligible GLP-1 medication for weight management, though not everyone will qualify.

Eligibility depends on starting BMI, medical history, Medicare coverage and the reason the medication is prescribed.

The review typically takes two to three weeks, and submitting a request doesn't guarantee approval. If you're currently paying out of pocket and hoping to switch, plan ahead and continue your current dose unless your clinician tells you otherwise.

Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati is committed to prescribing FDA-approved GLP-1 medications and does not recommend compounded GLP-1 products as a routine substitute when an approved option is available.

Our team is here to guide you through the process, and to discuss other options if the Bridge Program isn't available to you.

Please contact us at (513) 760-5511 with any questions specific to your care.

Most women with PMOS have spent years collecting pieces of a puzzle that no single provider ever tried to put together.

Irregular cycles flagged by one doctor, blood sugar concerns handed off to another, mood changes attributed to stress, cardiovascular risk never mentioned at all.

At Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati, we offer a PMOS assessment that looks at all of it. Your full symptom and cycle history, your hormonal and metabolic labs, your androgen and blood sugar levels, reviewed together by a physician who understands how they connect and can build a plan around the complete picture.

You brought up how exhausted you have been feeling lately, and the answer was that everyone your age is tired. So you stopped bringing it up.

The same thing happens with broken sleep, with brain fog, with joint pain, and over the years the list of what feels worth mentioning at an appointment starts getting shorter and shorter.

Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati was built on the belief that great medicine is personal, and that it begins with knowing the patient and listening carefully. Our appointments are long enough for the whole list, and our physicians know their patients well enough to notice when something on it changes.

Medicine keeps offering more: More tests, more data, more advice, and somehow patients feel less cared for than ever.

Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati was built on what none of it replaces: a physician with the time to know you, the judgment to see your health as one picture, and the discipline to recommend only what the evidence supports.

Our care spans internal medicine and endocrinology, menopause and women's health, precision medicine, and visits that come to your door when you cannot come to ours.

Your history lives in one place. Your care stays connected. And when health becomes complicated, the physician who already knows you is the one walking you through it.

If it has been a while since you felt cared for instead of processed, call (513) 760-5511 to learn more about membership at our Mariemont, Mason, or Kenwood office.

An hour of weeding works your forearms harder than most gym sessions, and almost no one stretches before heading out to the beds.

Cincinnati clay makes it worse, since wet, heavy soil fights you on every trowel stroke, which is why our clinicians hear the same complaint every summer: my garden looks great, but my joints are paying for it.

Midlife adds one more layer. As estrogen declines, tendons repair more slowly and get more sensitive to the repetitive pulling and pruning that fill a summer morning.

Most of that soreness is preventable with a short warm-up, wider tool grips, and a break every twenty minutes. When pain shows up anyway and lingers past a day or two, that is your signal to stop pushing, because a season of harvests is worth protecting the hands that do the work.

When was the last time it felt like your doctor had time for you? Not time to address the one issue you booked for, but time to sit down, ask a second question, and actually hear the answer.

For most people, that experience has quietly disappeared, with the average primary care visit now lasting about 15 minutes and both sides feeling the clock.

At Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati, time is the entire design. Our clinicians see a fraction of the patients a traditional practice does, which means appointments where your questions get answered instead of deferred, your history is known instead of skimmed, and nothing about the visit feels like a countdown.

To experience the difference for yourself, schedule a meet and greet at ConciergeMedicineofCincinnati.com

Summer has a way of pulling us outside — longer days mean more sun, which means more time doing the things we love.

More time outside also means more sun exposure, and this time of year is one of the best reminders to get into the habit of checking your skin regularly.

Skin cancer is the most common cancer diagnosis in the US, and most people who catch it early find it themselves first. A monthly self check is one of the simplest habits you can build, and we outlined the key signs to watch for above to help you know what you are looking at.

If you notice something new, something changing, or a spot you have been watching, bring it to your next visit. We will take a look, talk through what we are seeing, and point you in the right direction if a specialist is needed.
