Thank You, Dr. Lim!

It has been a true pleasure to work alongside Dr. Lim. His commitment to providing exceptional care, advancing fetal medicine, and supporting those around him has inspired us all. Most importantly, his patients absolutely adore him—a testament to the kindness, expertise, and genuine compassion he brings to every interaction.

As he begins an exciting new chapter in Los Angeles, where he will be helping to build and lead a new Fetal Center, we are both proud and grateful. While we know he will continue to change lives and make a tremendous difference, he will be deeply missed by everyone here.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Lim on this exciting opportunity and thanking him for two decades of outstanding service. We wish him nothing but success, happiness, and fulfillment in this next adventure.

His legacy will remain an important part of our team and will always be a member of our Fetal Care family.

Join The Friends of Fetal Care for Cincinnati Walks for Kids on Sunday, August 23 at Great American Ball Park. We will be raising funds for families that travel locally and from all over the country for treatment of their High-Risk pregnancies.
Funds raised will go towards travel and lodging, food and gas cards, and comfort items to ease their journey.

For Hannah, a Cincinnati Children’s team member and proud mom, delivering Liam at the Fetal Care Center’s Special Delivery Unit meant he had access to the specialized care he needed from the very beginning. Since birth, Liam has undergone multiple surgeries and was later diagnosed with hydrocephalus and cerebral palsy. Now 3 years old, he continues to see several specialists, but his joy, resilience and determination inspire everyone who knows him. Through every challenge and milestone, Hannah says Liam will always be “imperfectly perfect in every way.”

After undergoing fetoscopic MMC repair at 25 weeks and 6 days, Nikki spent three weeks of pregnancy in our Antepartum Unit, eagerly awaiting the arrival of her little one, who was born at 33 weeks!

Recently, Nurse Erinn happened to run into Nikki and her little nugget in the hallway, giving us the opportunity to capture this sweet reunion. Moments like these remind us that the connections formed during a fetal care journey don't end at delivery—our care, support, and celebration of each family's milestones continue long after birth.

Kami and Carla recently stopped by to visit the doctors who performed their fetal surgery before they were born. Arriving at just 30 weeks and 2 days, these little fighters have come such a long way and are now getting ready to celebrate their first birthday!

Happy, healthy, and full of personality, the twins had plenty to say during their visit—perhaps it was their way of saying, “Thank you!” 😊 It was wonderful to see them thriving and bringing so many smiles to the Fetal Care team. Happy first birthday, Kami and Carla! 🎉💕

Wade and his family recently stopped by to visit the Fetal Care team during a follow-up appointment and made quite an impression! Full of energy and personality, Wade brightened everyone's day. Now 4 years old, he is thriving. As his mom shares, "Wade is in preschool full time and growing, learning, and changing so much." Thank you, Wade and family, for stopping by and bringing so much joy to our team!
