HRC honors the many, many volunteers who have come through our doors and made our clients' lives better. Our volunteer receptionists, clinicians, and little-bit-of-everythings bring friendly faces and a bottomless well of compassion to all that they do.

This week, we celebrate you!

We are saddened by the recent passing of former HRC volunter, Sister Mary Barbara Philippart. Sister Mary Barbara served HRC as an interpreter for our Spanish-speaking clients before her retirement.

Our thoughts are with her family, community, and former students. May she rest well after a long life of service.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sister Mary Barbara Philippart who died Thursday, March 19, 2026 in Mother Margaret Hall. Funeral arrangements are pending. You are invited to share a memory of S. Mary Barbara here. Rest in peace Sister.
