Autism Carnival this weekend celebrating 10 years of the SPARK research program. We had a wonderful time connecting with families and sharing information at our booth.

What a fantastic week at Fine Motor Bootcamp!

Our campers had so much fun building fine motor skills, handwriting readiness, and school-based self-care skills through hands-on activities and play. Watching their confidence grow, celebrating their progress, and seeing new friendships form made this week so special.

We're so proud of everything they accomplished!

Week 2 of Emotion Explorers Camp was full of meaningful moments, new discoveries, and plenty of fun!

Throughout the week, our older campers challenged themselves to better understand their emotions while learning practical tools to help them stay calm, solve problems, and connect with others. Through games, creative projects, movement, and group activities, they practiced skills they can use every day!

We had an amazing week of exploring emotions, building friendships, and learning new self-regulation skills at Emotion Explorers Junior camp!

Our Junior Emotion Explorers discovered how to recognize body signals and emotional clues through engaging activities designed just for young learners.

Camp highlights included:
- Exploring what our bodies tell us about emotions
- Mindful movement with yoga, gross motor games, and mindfulness activities
- Practicing being a good friend, empathy, and communication skills
- Creating personalized self-regulation toolkits filled with calming strategies to take home and use with their families

We are so proud of each camper. Thank you to all of our wonderful families for being part of this special experience!

Every child deserves to be heard. Every voice — no matter how small or how challenged — matters. That belief is deeply woven into the heart of one of our incredible sponsors, Comprehensive Concepts in Speech and Hearing, Inc..

Since 1982, CCSH has been helping individuals throughout Greater Cincinnati find their voice, build confidence, and overcome communication challenges. Their work goes far beyond speech therapy — it’s about connection, confidence, and helping people communicate with the world around them.

CCSH serves individuals of all ages, helping children strengthen speech and language skills, supporting teens through communication challenges, and guiding adults on their journey back to communication after illness or injury. As they beautifully say:
“We teach a child that their voice needs to be heard. We remind a teenager with a stutter that their words are worth the wait. We help a stroke survivor say their spouse’s name again. We help people find their voice whether they are 2 years old or 92 years old.”

We’ve seen firsthand the incredible compassion and dedication of the CCSH team. One parent shared: “CCSH has been instrumental in helping my son with his speech and language challenges. He loves the staff and has fun while learning and practicing.” That kind of impact changes lives.
