When Ivan first began services, crowded community spaces were a real challenge. Through ongoing support and practice, he recently had a great trip to the zoo with his mother. Even with large crowds, Ivan used his coping strategies, followed safety prompts like “give space” and “wait for us,” and even waited 45 minutes for a train ride. It was a big step forward and a fun day for everyone! Way to go Ivan!

For her, foster care isn’t only about providing a safe place to stay. It’s in the visits, the phone calls and the shared meals that remind her why she opened her home in the first place.🤝

The OhioRISE team in our Cincinnati office came together in a meaningful way to honor Juneteenth, creating a special time filled with joy, reflection, and connection. The celebration highlighted a strong sense of unity while continuing to build lasting bonds.

The week began with Dashiki Tuesday, followed by Juneteenth-themed attire on Wednesday, and concluded with all-black attire on Thursday to symbolize unity.

The connections strengthened throughout the celebration and the shared sense of community made the experience both powerful and uplifting, truly a beautiful moment to witness.❤🎉
