May We Help has two upcoming equipment events on Aug. 23 and Aug. 25! Several standing devices and bath chairs are currently available, and donations of adaptive strollers and small or extra-small gait trainers are also needed.

Great news! We have TWO equipment events coming up. We just added Aug. 23 and also have Aug. 25.
We currently have several easy stand devices looking for a home. We also have a variety of bath chairs from a simple chair to a larger more supportive full sized chair.

If you have adaptive strollers or small and extra small gait trainers, We would gladly take those as donations.

🧘 Looking for an inclusive activity your child can enjoy from home?

A few spots may still be available for be.well’s six-week Virtual Yoga series for kids ages 10–17 with mobility limitations. Participants will build foundational yoga skills, enjoy fun outdoor and scout-inspired activities, and receive resources to continue practicing between sessions.

🌟 Community Resource Spotlight: Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion

The Cincinnati Recreation Commission’s Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion program helps individuals with disabilities participate in recreation and leisure activities throughout the community.

Available opportunities may include sports, aquatics, fitness, social activities, community outings, and other recreational programs. CRC can also help families learn more about inclusion support within its community recreation programs.

🎃 May We Help is bringing some Halloween magic to local families!

Families can apply to have a custom costume designed and built around their child’s wheelchair. Applications are due September 5.

Completed costumes will be revealed at May We Help’s Halloween Festival on Sunday, October 25, from 2–4 pm at Mojave East. The festival is open to all families, whether or not they requested a costume, and will include costumes, games, food and family fun!

⚾ Registration for All Abilities Sports NKY Baseball closes this Wednesday, August 19, at 8 pm!

Teams will be available for both younger and older athletes, with the five-week season beginning Monday, September 7. Financial assistance is available. Visit the original post to sign up!
