Join us for Dog Days: Puppy Parade & Charity Drive at Artis Senior Living of Bridgetown!

We’re bringing wagging tails, happy smiles, and a little extra joy to our community while supporting Cincinnati Animal CARE.

Guests are invited to enjoy our puppy parade and help us support animals in need by bringing high-priority donation items for Cincinnati Animal CARE.

Donation items needed include canned dog and puppy food, soft/training treats, xylitol-free peanut butter, durable dog toys, puppy p*e pads, p**p bags, leashes, collars, gently used towels and blankets, paper towels, and 55-gallon heavy-duty trash bags.

Please note: Cincinnati Animal CARE cannot accept bed pillows, sleeping bags, mattresses, human clothing, open/expired items, open/expired pet medications, large furniture, or cat towers.

Come enjoy the pups, support a great cause, and help us make a difference!

Dolly Parton spent a lifetime reminding us of the power of love, kindness, and showing up for the people who matter most. In the wake of her passing, we’ve been thinking about something especially important: caregiving is part of so many families’ stories. It can be an act of love, but it can also be complicated, exhausting, and deeply personal. Because of that, she continues to remind us the importance of taking care of the caregiver. That’s why conversations about aging and caregiving matter, not just when a family reaches a moment of crisis, but long before.

At Artis, we believe care is about more than meeting physical needs. It’s about understanding the whole person, supporting families, creating connection, and helping people continue to live meaningful lives.

Dolly’s legacy reminds us how much one person can give to others. Her story also reminds us that behind every family is a very human journey of love, change, and care. We’re grateful for the reminder to keep talking about it.

Like many caregivers, Dolly Parton didn’t take care of her own health while caring for her ailing husband. That’s not unusual, even among people with resources.

Dolly Parton had a gift of inspiring joy and connecting on a deeply human level through her music – a gift she shared generously with us all. We mourn her loss and celebrate her extraordinary life. 🦋

Dolly Parton has died at the age of 80. The country music legend was known for songs including “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You” and “9 to 5.” She also starred in movies like ‘Steel Magnolias’ and ‘The Best Little Wh******se in Texas’.

Join us as we dive in to the occupational, domestic, and creative skills we’ve honed over a lifetime – shared experiences that create opportunities to participate and feel a sense of purpose. 💙💙💙

Rooted in Love, Created Together 💕

We had such a wonderful afternoon at Artis Senior Living of Bridgetown bringing residents, families, and community partners together for a little creativity and a lot of heart.

A huge thank you to Painting to Gogh for guiding us through our beautiful paintings and helping make the afternoon so much fun. Even more meaningful, this event gave us the opportunity to support the Jobs for Cincinnati Graduates program through Cincinnati Youth Collaborative with our school supply drive. JCG supports students in grades 7–12 as they prepare for success in school, work, and life.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated supplies, painted alongside us, and helped make this event so special. We loved seeing everyone’s individual creations come together. ❤️

If the holiday decorations are already showing up in stores (they are), it’s okay to start thinking about the months ahead.

You walk into the store for school supplies or Halloween decorations, and there they are – Christmas trees, menorahs, ornaments, and twinkling lights. For many families caring for a loved one with dementia, this is also the moment another thought quietly arrives: “How are we going to do the holidays this year?” If you’re asking yourself that question, you’re not alone.

The holidays can be beautiful, but they can also bring new challenges for someone living with dementia, and for the family members who love them. Starting the conversation early can help everyone feel more prepared, more present, and less overwhelmed when the season arrives.

In honor of International Beer Day, our residents at Artis Senior Living of Bridgetown took on their very own pub crawl! 🍻

Residents traveled from stop to stop throughout the community, enjoying a variety of tasty pub-style snacks, good company, and plenty of laughs along the way. Each stop offered something a little different and gave everyone another reason to gather, socialize, and enjoy the afternoon together.

Cheers to good food, great company, and making memories together!
