Congratulations to our ProAmpac Spartanburg team on a record-breaking achievement!

On September 22, the 851 and 855 crews set a new daily production record, achieving what the team calls “A Perfect Day!”

An Active Role in Food Protection: ProAmpac Introduces ProActive Intelligence Shelf Protect

We are proudly introducing ProActive Intelligence™ Shelf Protect (SP) Series, giving food producers a new way to help preserve product quality and reduce costly spoilage. Designed for select meat, seafood, and dairy applications, the technology is FDA- and USDA-compliant for intended uses in fresh beef, fresh pork, cooked sausage, deli meat, fresh salmon, and fresh cheese.

This direct food-contact biotechnology packaging helps reduce microbial growth associated with food spoilage in intended applications, supporting longer shelf life throughout storage and distribution. Shelf Protect’s patented biotechnology is built directly into food-contact packaging film.

In recognition of World Mental Health Day on October 10, ProAmpac is highlighting the importance of mental and emotional wellbeing and encouraging everyone to make time to pause, recharge, and care for themselves.

As part of this commitment, we’re offering our team members a webinar with Workplace Options, our Global Employee Assistance Program, focused on managing stress, building resilience, and balancing care for others with self-care.

We’re proud to celebrate Maria Burkle and Zac Patterson, who were both named to the FTA Rising 20 Class of 2026 and featured in the September issue of FLEXO Magazine!

Maria was recognized for her hands-on leadership and commitment to developing people while driving continuous improvement across ProAmpac’s printing operations.
